Well... this is awkward.

Because I never really know how to answer the question...

"So, what do you do?"

  • Flight attendant.
  • Pilot in training.
  • Former practicing attorney.
  • Intuitive medium.
  • Wine founder.
  • Serial collector of unexpected adventures.

I'm still trying to figure out how one person accidentally ended up with this many plot twists.

Kristen

Harvest. September. California.

I'm still working on that part.

Most people pick one lane. I seem to collect them.

I practiced law long enough to realize it wasn't my story. So I closed that chapter and found myself in the skies as a flight attendant, where every trip reminds me how much I love people, stories, and the beautiful unpredictability of life.

Then I did what any perfectly reasonable person would do. I started flight school.

Because apparently one aviation career wasn't enough.

Then Things Got a Little Weird.

Somewhere along the way, I started knowing things I had no logical way of knowing.

Which, for someone trained to think like a lawyer, was mildly inconvenient.

My first instinct was to question it. Then analyze it. Then probably question it again.

Eventually, I had to admit something I never expected: I was a medium.

Today, some of the most meaningful moments of my life come from connecting people with loved ones they've lost and reminding them that maybe there's more going on here than we can explain.

Then Came the Wine

Then, because life apparently enjoys keeping things interesting, I fell in love with wine.

Not just drinking it.

The vineyards. The harvest. The people. The stories behind every bottle.

The way a beautiful glass of wine has this incredible ability to slow people down long enough to have the conversations that actually matter.

And that's where Leggs McGee comes in.

Where The Name Came From

People always ask where the name came from.

The truth is, it wasn't some carefully crafted branding strategy.

About a year ago, I was having dinner with a rock star.

As I walked by, he looked at me, smiled, and said,

"Hey, Leggs McGee."

That was it. The nickname stuck.

A little while later, when I decided to create a wine brand, I kept coming back to that moment.

Nothing else felt right.

Leggs McGee had personality.

It made people smile.

It was a little unexpected.

A little glamorous.

And impossible to forget.

Kind of like the brand I wanted to build.

How It All Connects

For a long time, I thought I needed to explain how all of these pieces fit together.

Flying. Mediumship. Wine. Building things from crazy ideas.

Now I think the answer is pretty simple.

They're all about connection.

Meeting people I never would have met. Having conversations we might not otherwise have. Following curiosity even when I have no idea where it's going.

I've stopped trying to make my life fit neatly into one box.

It was never going to anyway.

If you've made it this far, you're probably my kind of person.

Someone who's curious.

Someone who laughs easily.

Someone who appreciates a beautiful bottle of wine.

Someone who loves a good story.

Someone who's open to the possibility that life is far more interesting than we sometimes give it credit for.

Welcome backstage.

Not everyone gets backstage, but I'm really glad you did.

Leggs 💋
